One of the gaining popularity video freeware is VLC (Video Lan), reason for the same includes the format it can play (All most all the Video, Audio Format and also live stream) and most importantly the easy with which you can operate it. But, the only thing which i personally don’t like about the VLC is the Theme, so now i can change that also, with the help of some really great deviations created. Without wasting much of your time, below is the list of my top 2 Free VLC Player Themes (Skins), non of them are created by me, but for sure used by me.

VLC Player Themes & Skins :

1. Mac Style (Crossover Leopard) : Oldest of all in this list, but still remains on the number one spot due to the simplicity of the theme. Get Mac Style VLC Theme & Skin
2. Eternal Aqua : Similar to the Mac Style listed above, the only chance is the light effect of the VLC Player, but really nice, suggested for the user who do not like dark shade of Mac Style. Get Eternal Aqua VLC Theme & Skin.
3. Bister 1.0 : Black Theme for all the black lovers around the world, the best thing which I love about this VLC Theme & Skin is modification which a user can do, add their own system fonts and other . Get Bister 1.0 VLC Theme & Skin.
4. Real Mac VLC : Another Mac style VLC Theme, Out of 5, three are based on the Mac Style, reason is themes simplicity, and easy to use. The icons used are really superb. Get Real Mac VLC Theme & Skin.
5. Iphone Style : One of the Best of all, but only for the Mac Users, it is in my Wish list for sure. If you are able to design the themes, go the home page of Iphone style and take permission from the original author. Get Iphone Style VLC Theme & Skin.

Install a VLC Theme / Skin :

1. Copy the file from the zip downloaded having the extension, (.vlt) in to the VLC / SKIN Floder.
2. Location on Windows C: WINDOWS/PROGRAMS/VIDEOLAN/VLC/SKIN
3. Location on Linux : ~/.share/vlc/skins2
4. Open VLC / Tools / Preferences
5. Browse your favorite theme. Enjoy
