The Google Chrome provides users with the automatic pinning of the Tabs (Making Small the First Tab as the number of Tabs increase), which would be very handy tool if you visits more sites at one time and that also in single window. But, With the New Firefox Add-on “Pin Tab” users can Pin their tabs in the Firefox browser to the Favicon Sized Small tabs to the left of the tab bar. This Pin Tab FireFox Add-on add the capability of the Pin Tab Feature of Google Chrome 4.0 & above.

Features of Pin Tab Firefox Add-on :
- Pinning a tab moves it to the left side of the tab bar just its favicon.
- Enables More Tabs Visible through Firefox Screen, making it easier to change tabs.
- Pinned tabs will remain pinned across sessions.
- This extension adds an item to the tab context menu allowing you to pin the tab.
- You can also pin a tab by dragging it to the left of already pinned tabs.
- Likewise, you can unpin a tab by dragging to the right of unpinned tabs.
- Avoid your friends in office to view what you are browsing.

If you would like pinned tabs to be locked (a locked tab opens all links in new tabs) automatically, install Tabberwocky and go to about:config -> right-click in page -> new -> boolean -> extensions.pintab.lock -> true. With this setting, all tabs that you pin from that point on will also be locked!

The User can enable or disable the short keys to pin the tabs in Firefox, default short cut key for pinning is Ctrl + Clicking on the respective tabs. Other Short Keys available includes; Alt + Clicking, Shift + Clicking, Double Clicking.
