Save all Open Word Document with Single Click | Microsoft Office

Their are many instances, that you end up opening many word document & struggle to save all one by one when some urgent call from your boss / friend comes up. This tip on Saving all the open documents in Office word with single click could come handy to all the users of word, who end up opening and editing many documents simultaneity. I actually use it most often when I’ve made a change in my code files along with the this month newsletter template along with some other documents every month.

All the Open Document can be saved with Single Click in all the versions of Office might it be Word 2003 , Word 2007 or Word 2010.  For both the Office, you need a button which says Save All, and then saves all the document with the changes with single click.

Steps to Save All Open Word Document in Word 2003 & Earlier:

Save All in Word 2003

  • Press [Shift] & Pull down the File Menu.
  • Word will add the Save All command to the File Menu
  • Save All is just above the Save As command
  • Just choose Save All and Word will prompt you to save each Document

Steps to Save All Open Word Document in Word 2007/2010 :

Save All in Office Word

  • Above Steps of 2003 won’t work in 2007 / 2010 as there is no File Menu.
  • Click the Office button and click Word Options.
  • Click Customize in the left-hand column.
  • Select Commands Not In Ribbon from the Choose Commands From drop-down list.
  • Scroll down and select Save All to Right Box (As seen in above Image)
  • Click the Add button and then click OK.
  • View Save All Button in Quick Menu (As seen in below Image)

Save All in Quick Access Menu
