Most Important and necessary Utility to be installed on your PC / Laptop, when you have a kid aged below 10 (Like I have one) is Application which disables all the Keyboard & Mouse Functions via shortcut, when your kids are around you and like to press one of the buttons, while your are working. What made me find software which disables Keyboard & mouse function ? Recently My wife was working late night on laptop, which she needed to submit it same time, but My daughter came playing and hit the escape button and all of the work done by her, was wiped out – see was not able to work it again as it took her nearly 3 to 4 hours.

After Searching, found two software which would enable a users to disable all the functions of Keyboard & Mouse with a short key, preventing loss of data when your kid press some of the buttons on keyboard.

1. Kid Key Lock :

It enables the uses to lock Keyboard as well as the Mouse buttons via a short Key, when you have toddlers and kids who try to press buttons or even throw toys on your computers, while you are working with some important documents. 2. Touch Locker :

It is also similar to the Kid Key Lock, which enables the users to lock the keyboard & mouse functions, while they are working on some important documents or watching the Video and do not want the kids to disturb them by pressing some buttons, which would wipe out some of their important work via Lock an VCD. Both the utility are freeware and must install on the pc with have children who are proactive with the keyboard and mouse. Other option available includes locking the computer, but that would make your children think that you do not like them working on computers and would at the end of the day discourage them, which i suppose no parent would like it.
