Today, 22nd Oct, 2009 its Windows 7 Launch party everywhere in the world. But the launch in the India have really surprised everyone in the world due to the price slash of nearly 10% from rest of the world to get maximum customers in India from XP [Nearly 90% of the Market Share within Windows Operating System] & Vista.[Remaining 10% Market Share] to buy Windows 7 (Where to buy ? coming on to that point later). Firstly, lets see the price range from all the products offered within Windows 7.

Price Range for Windows 7 [India] :

• Windows 7 Home Basic – Rs. 5,899
• Windows 7 Home Premium – Rs. 6,799
• Windows 7 Professional – Rs. 11,199
• Windows 7 Ultimate – Rs. 11,799

Just for example, how much is the slash in the price of Windows 7 in India, lets see the Windows 7 Home Basic price  on global Microsoft store, which is $119.99 when converted in Indian Rupees it is nearly 5599.33 that means the price are infant more than rest of the world. Never the problem I personally think that the above prices for the Windows 7 are reasonable. Coming on to the Next important Question.

Where to Buy Windows 7 in India ?

It is nearly 20.30 in India and still the people of the India are not aware of the store or online place where they can buy Windows 7 in India. You would be thinking that what a fool, go and check the Microsoft site, dear already checked that and stupid fellow are still showing the Vista promotion on the Microsoft site. Also tried at Singapore site but they are still promoting the Internet 7 and the sites of USA and UK are not accepting the Indian Address.

So, what now ? Need to find some Launch Party sites, which offer the direct download from the site ? Would update when I find some ? If you know the place online or local in India where you can buy the Windows 7 please help all the techie crazy people here on Blog of ur Interest by posting via comments. Till then would work with Vista and some of the Anti Virus Offers around the world on the occasion of Windows 7 Launch Party.

Update : You can choose the Delivery option as Download it from the Microsoft Global Site, during the check out option after clicking on the details of the interest product within Windows 7.
