In this small world, you never know that whom you are calling or replying is in the other part of the world, and might be he / she would be at sleep as it might be midnight on the other side of the world. But with the help of New Gmail Lab Feature Officially release on the Gmail Blog for Checking Sender Time Zone, you can now never disturb your friends or business client by calling them at late night and know when they are awake so that you can mail or even call them at right time.
New Gmail Lab Feature : Sender Time Zone should be enabled before the use from the Lab Setting page in your Gmail. It helps you show the time zone for the sender place, where ever they are in the world. The Green and Red Sign shown right side by the contact shows you that are they awake or at sleep. The Green and Red Sign Button against the Contacts are based on the Time Zone.
You’ll see green phone icons next to people who are probably awake and readily reachable (if it’s between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm in the sender’s local time zone) and red ones next to those who could be sleeping or out of the office. Just Click show details to check where your friends are awake or at sleep, so that you do not distrub them at the wrong time.
When you send the Mail to other, the Mail Header includes the time zone, which is used by this new Gmail Feature for Checking the Sender Time Zone by showing you the Green and Red Button beside the Contant email address. Did you tried the New Gmail Feature of showing the Senders Time Zone, if No., Go to Labs and enable it to check the sender’s time zone with that green and red button., One of my favorite features of gmail labs.
