No More Searching for your bank’s ATM for Withdrawal of Money, Use Any Bank’s ATM across the India for Free as per the Directive Notice issued by RBI Dated 1oth March, 2008 coming into Effect on April 1st 2009. As per the Directive Notice issued by the Reserve Bank of India, Any banks in India cannot charge you for use of other bank’s ATM for Money Withdrawal and balance Inquire. The Notice by the Reserve Bank of India about the free usage of any ATM in the India have came to effect on 1st April 2009. This has been possible due to the International usage of ATM’s in countries like UK, Germany and Frances where bank Customers have access to all the ATM’s in the Country, Free of Charge expect White label ATM’s.

Customer Charges for use of ATM’s for Cash withdrawal and balance inquiry has been nullified effective from 1st April 2009 Notice Number : RBI/2007-2008/260 DPSS No.1405 / 02.10.02 / 2007-2008

Customer charges for use of ATM’s for cash withdrawal and balance inquiry is made FREE across the country irrespective of Bank

As per the Notice [Download your Copy as PDF of Notice], release by RBI on March 10th 2008, Customers can use their own bank ATM’s for any purpose for free. For use of other bank ATM’s for balance enquirers was made free with the immediate effect. and Now, that Use of Other banks ATM’s for Cash Withdrawals is made free with effect from April 1st 2009 which was previously bank charge for other ATM money withdrawal was made 20 Rs Maximum till March 31st 2008. Up till March 31st 2009, the charge of Rs.20/- indicated will be all inclusive and no other charges will be levied to the customers under any other head irrespective of the amount of withdrawal.
