Firefox 3.6 Beta 1 is Out & Ready to Use


One of the most popular and most effective Web browser “FireFox” is out with its new beta version “Firefox 3.6 Beta 1” which is based on the new technology created by Mozilla community known as Gecko 1.9.2. Gecko 1.9.2 is a layout Engine which supports all the Internet standards and used to support the Mozilla softwares like Firefox, Thunderbird and many more., Beta software will update itself periodically, and eventually will be updated to the final release itself.

Firefox 3.6 / Gecko 1.9.2 New Features:

  • Browser’s appearance with a single click, with built in support for Personas.
  • Firefox 3.6 will alert users about out of date plugins to keep them safe.
  • Support for Full Screen Video.
  • Support for the WOFF font format.
  • Improved Java Environment for Fast Startup of Firefox
  • Support for new CSS, DOM and HTML5 web technologies.
