Double Click to Close Firefox Tab with Add-on


Some of us get involved so much during surfing, that we are not aware about the number of tabs we have open, sometimes it gets over 25 to 50 tabs in a single Firefox Window. Once you release number of tabs open, you thing of closing the tabs which are of no need now, but it would take some work to close the tab one by one as Firefox gives users two normal options , Firstly click on the cross mark & another by right clicking on the tab, both of which would take your much more time.

What if you would able to close the tab, you want to by just a double click on the tab ? This would be a prefect solution for closing the tabs. You can enable double click close tab feature on to your Firefox browser via Firefox Add-on.

“Right to Close” is a Firefox Tab Add-on which enables the users to close the current tab by just clicking anywhere including the Tab itself twice to close it. Simply right double-clicking anywhere on the current tab to close it. It would be a must have Tab Enhancer Firefox Add-on. What if you have only one tab open ? The double clicking can close the Firefox Window for you or open a new tab instead, which can be changed via options in Firefox Add-on pop up.
