The Only Tab, which is not displayed by default, to all the users of the Excel 2007 in the New Ribbon is the Developer Tab, which is useful for all the users who intend to work with Macro’s and VBA Codes or even insert some blocks or drop down menus to build a Dashboards. Before I show you how to display the Developer Tab on Excel 2007 Ribbon, lets find out why it so important to have a Developer Tab.
The Developer Tab includes :
- Code : VBA & Macros
- Controls : Insert Forms like Drop Down, Pick up, Check Mark Objects.
- XML : Edit or Add Expansion Packs for better Functionality (Add ins)
- Modify : Edit Document Properties.
Display Developer Tab on Ribbon :
- Go to Start Button
- Choose Office Excel Option @ End of the pop up Menu.
- In Excel Options Dialog box, Select Top Most option of Popular.
- Place a Check Mark Next to Statement showing “Show Developer tab in the Ribbon”
- You are done.
If you plan to work with VBA macros, you’ll want to make sure that the Developer tab is displayed in Excel.
