One of the Most Interesting news, which i read on the internet is all about the Virus / Worm named “Conficker” as pert the experts is going to attract and infect thousands and thousands of computer, which are in the network or connected to the internet. But, After reading for almost 2 hours now, still I am in the dilemma that Conficker Virus is Real or Fake ? So, just thought of sharing the same with all my reader, why to take a risk ? As per the Guardian News on Conficker Virus :

Conficker – also known among security experts as “Downadup” – was first discovered in November last year, being sold as part of a “kit” by a Chinese hacker. Since then, two variants have been spotted as the virus has gone on to infect more than 10m PCs.

What would Conficker Do ?

As per the History data is available from the China, it can create a botnet over the network and internet that enable the worm’s coders to control millions and millions of computers worldwide, which are connected to the Internet. In-turn opens the way to send spam messages and other similar tasks from millions of computer.

Conficker’s aim seems to be the creation of a botnet that would enable the worm’s coders to control millions of computers worldwide and use this massive collaborative force to launch attacks on particular websites, send spam messages and other similar tasks. But, Most of the Experts over the internet have different things to say, some say that it can be biggest 1st April Joke over the internet but it would not effect your computer on 1st April according to F-Secure Official release on Conficker Worm.

Tips to Fight with Conficker :

• Keep you Anti-Virus Software Up to Date. Install all the New updates available.
• Keep you Windows Updated Via Windows Update.
• Download Microsoft Malicious Software Removal tool. Better to have One.
• Disable Autorun Features of External Devices (USB, Hard drive)
• Use USB / Pen drive Autorun.inf Clearer Softwares.
• Download F-Secure Malware Check Free Software.
• Free Conficker removal tools like Mac fee Conficker Free Utility.
