It is really simple. Only thing to add any Gadget to Gmail, you require the URL of the Gadget and Gmail. Adding Gadget to Gmail :

• Open Gmail
• Click on the Setting near your email address.
• Go to the labs.
• Enable the Features “Add Any Gadget by URL”

• Save Changes
• After a reload, Click on Gadget Tab under Setting Page.

• 
• To Find to Gadget Copy the URL from igoogle Gadget page.

• Paste the Required Gadget URL in Box provided.
• Done. You have Added Non-Gmail Gadget to Gmail for Better Mail.
